Jacob and I spent New Years Eve with 2 of my 3 sisters, and my new bro-in-law. We had a game night (Guitar Hero and Apples to Apples). It wasn't anything formal or glitzy...just the way I like it!
New Year's Day was spent playing Dungeons and Dragons (Jacob) and watching football (me).
I was very happy that Michigan won their last game with Lloyd Carr as coach. Well done, Coach Carr! Best wishes in your future endeavors.
I started reading 'Into the Wild' for my family book club. I missed the first meeting of the club, so I'm not sure what to expect. Perhaps as I get more into the book I will get a better idea of what we are to discuss.
As far as resolutions go, I was reading last night that sometimes it's better to come up with a theme, rather than go into specifics, then do the things that fit in with the theme.
My theme is to be surrounded by peace and beauty and allow my creativy to soar!
